It only took a few minutes to assemble, and after figuring it out everything went great. The Marcy rebounder is stable and strong.

Bought to help strengthen knees from previous injury. Easy to build, around 30 mins, virtually silent, perfect addition to home gym equipment. Looked at a few trampolines and glad I opted for the Marcy one.Feel the burn without the pain. Brilliant. Only been a couple of weeks and the difference is amazing.

I just assembled it and am 160 pounds. There are 28 straps and 6 legs. That means 2 straps must be pressed up against the legs and might wear out prematurely. I decided to leave the cover off so I can see where those are and keep them front and back, farthest from my feet, so they won't fail as soon.I can see how the threads would be easy to cross thread. I was very careful and avoided doing so. After reading other reviews, I will check leg tightness often. I also will leave the legs on.I bought mine brand new rather than save $10 on a used one since I feared others might cross thread and return. My threads were all good. Nothing missing or broken. The frame is designed for 4 lock pins, but only 1 is provided, and only 1 listed in the instructions. It would have to defy gravity to close someone, so maybe that is not an issue. People who fold theirs up might lose lock pins anyway. The caps to the leg holes were on tight. I removed them with a pliers. Also one leg had a burr, which I ground off on the concrete.Assembly took max 10 minutes with me being slow and careful, working alone. I was in no hurry and was taking pictures. Amazon won't let me upload them unless I give more permissions than I want to.Opening the frame to ready position is very easy. I don't know why others had trouble.I've not attempted to disassemble it. It would take too long to unthread and rethread the legs each time, and risk cross threading. Disassembly is practical for mailing and moving only.I'm leaving the handle off and plan to leave the base assembled and stored on its side. When I stand on it (160 pounds), it sinks 2 inches. Jumping does not sink it much more than that. Jumping is not tiring, but also not acrobatic. My feet don't get above the mat. I could do it for 10 minutes if I want. I'm bicycle fit, just injured.I just got this to rehab my knees. They can't handle jumping on solid ground or grass. This is rougher than a big trampoline, but it forgiving enough my knees can handle it. I think it may be optimal for rehab. A big trampoline would absorb too much shock and not make my knees stronger.I don't know if others would find this fun to jump on, but it is perfect for me as far as rehab.I'd give it 5 stars if it had 30 bands so none would rub against the legs. Hopefully this lasts long enough. Others won't like the none stowability. For $44 shipped, I'm an ungreatful consumer perhaps.Knowing what I know now, I would still buy this trampoline.

We purchased this trampoline for our incredibly active 6 year old for Christmas. What an incredible gift it has turned out to be! Where we live the winters are cold and harsh and it can be hard to give our active little guy enough space and time to get his energy out. We chose it because it was bigger than the trampolines marketed to children - and it is the perfect size for him to use now and as he grows. Even his 6th grade brother enjoys bouncing on it occasionally. This trampoline fits in our living room and he jumps on it almost every day (even now, 3 months after he got it). My husband and brother put it together in about a half an hour. It was fairly simple to assemble since they had 2 people working on it, but required some strength on their part. Not sure I could have assembled it on my own.Just a note - the box it's delivered in has a large picture on the front. If you're purchasing for a gift, any surprise may be spoiled if the recipient happens to see the box before you can get it safely hidden away.

I selected this particular rebounder/trampoline based on other customer's reviews and my "beginner" needs. Since I already have a small collection of other exercise equipment that sees little to no use, my goal with this purchase was to see if it was something I could do (without it hurting my joints), enjoy doing, and stick with. If in a year, I still enjoy it, and then want to invest in a better, more expensive rebounder, I will, but for now, this one suits me just fine. I gave it five stars because I feel it is a very good value for the price I paid (under $60 including stabilizer bar and shipping). I did search online for basic beginner exercises and followed those suggestions. I was surprised that just bouncing (without even lifting your feet) for five minutes was actually enough of a workout the first day, but it was! Your heartrate goes up, and you feel it in your legs the next day (in a good way.) I feel by not overdoing it initially, I was able to steadily increase my workout in both duration and types of steps. Please know that I am not looking to have chiseled abs or be in one of those "before/after" commercials. I just want to stay young and healthy so I can keep enjoying my grandchildren and my life! What I love about it: (1) I can jump on and do a couple minutes here and there whenever a good song comes on, and over the course of a day, I have gotten in a workout; (2) it comes with a stabilizer bar -- which I suspected I would need, and I do. Although in just a couple weeks time, I am seeing improvement in my balance and am less dependent on the bar; (3) it's fun and makes me feel more energetic; (4) it's easy. My only disappointments are that I cannot store it under my bed as I had hoped (after I remove the stabilizer bar), but that is my own fault for not measuring before purchasing. It also takes up more room than I expected and may not be staying in the family room as I had wanted. Bottom line, if you are purchasing your first rebounder, I would definitely recommend you consider this one.
