These were a gift to my husband. He likes metal detecting at the beach. Wearing regular shoes is not conducive to hot sand and water, but his previous water shoes were chafing the skin on his feet. Mares were recommended and because I wanted him to enjoy his hobby while protecting his feet, I’m happy to report that he absolutely loves them!He wears 12-13 in shoes. Downsizing was recommended so I hoped 12 would work and they are a great fit. Snug, but not too tight. Since he’s just walking around in them and not using any flippers, they didn’t need to be super tight. Great buy, recommended by the shoe snob himself.

Just so there isn't any misunderstanding, I believe these are excellent dive booties. Quality and sole thickness are ideal, especially for those doing lot of shore diving on rough or uneven terrain. First qualifier: order one size down! I normally wear a shoe size 11 and the bootie 11's I received are way too loose, at least a size 12 by my reckoning. Second qualifier: you'll need a roomier fin pocket for these to fit properly due to the heavier construction of the soles. Otherwise, it'll be an in-water wrestling match to get them off before you're able to climb the boat ladder.

This is my second pair of these boots. I’m a dive guide in Curacao and dive every day. All dives are from shore. Sometimes very rocky. These boots have a thick sole but are flexible for kicking.

Love these dive boots. The sole is extra hard so you don't really have to worry about sharp things puncturing the sole if you step on the bottom. The 5mm is adequate to retain heat in the lower extremity and the boots are light weight with a heavy duty large zipper. The lip on the back is helpful to make sure your fin strap doesn't slip off.

These boots worked well in Bonaire where you do a lot of shore entries.

I bought these a little over a month ago, and have used them 5-6 times. The first couple times I wore them, I liked them. They were comfortable and over all pretty decent dive boots.Recently I've had problems getting the zippers to work, and today they were frozen in place -- it took a pair of pliers to unzip them. I also have a Pair of SEAC boots that are over 3 years old and work perfectly... I'm going back to them!

Good dive boot with good cushion, but not at all like the picture suggests. The picture, and the name suggest a sole much like what you find on a sneaker and that is not what is in the boot. But it is a dive boot, not something I am going to go running in so I really don't need a sneaker, just a good soled boot that allows me to stay in it and walk comfortably in between and after dives, and this boot works ok for that. But several reviews also noted the sole is actually black, which looks better than the white. The toe box is very roomy, wide feet should be pleased with that. However, I am a female with small narrow feet so I will put a real sneaker insole in it. I think the sizing is correct. I wear a 6.5 US women but most dive boots I take a women 7 and this boot fits correct in length.

These are absolutely amazing. Years ago I had tried to buy a pair of molded dive boots, but the moment I did I realized they would not fit in my fins so I had to return them. Since I was in the market for new fins I jumped at the chance to finally get a pair of molded boots. You have to remember to buy your fins a size up in order for the boots to fit in the fins. With these there is no more cringing with every step over gravel to get to a dive site. I used to hate walking down to the local quarry or any where that was not sand or boat in the old thin dive boots. These are very comfortable and provide great support. I would recommend at least trying a size smaller than the shoe you wear. I normally wear an 8, but tried both the 8 and 7 size and went with the 7. I prefer the snug fit that so no more slipping around in my dive boots, or the toes flapping about like I am wearing clown shoes. Highly recommend these.
