Building a home and have tear-up my boots. Very pleasantly surprised how well these boots hold up. Insert allows flexibility in fitting the boot. It does take some break-in time as most boots. The sole is good about not picking up rocks. This is good value for the money.

Not waterproof!! Comfortable but one of the main reasons I purchased these was because they are advertised to be waterproof with their "triple-layer waterproofing system" but the first time I got my boots wet my feet got super wet and I froze. No warranty offered thru amazon and Brunt refuses any warranty as well.

I walk miles a day on the job and needed a comfort and durability upgrade. I chose the composite brunt toe. I was pleased. I wore them on a weekend to break them in. That was all they needed to be work ready. They come with a protective polish. This will rub off on fabric so wipe it down with the included cloth. The insole is very comfortable. I see there is a multipiece insole which has a removable insert to expand the width from d to ee. I measure an e width but did not need to remove the insert.Innovative speed lace design. Laces seem to be solid. Compare these laces side by side with your old laces. Noticeable difference.

My husband says the boot is just too heavy for his taste, otherwise very comfortable, durable, feel good, just clunky feeling. True to size. He exchanged for the regular toe.

It appears the boot is durable. However around the boots collar is uncomfortable. More padding is needed. The next pair will be the Brunt(The Perkins) Comp Toe. In the picture you see more thicker padding. Also the comp toe is very comfortable.

I’ve have bad foot problems from plantar fasciitis to a pinky toe turning sideways. I have always needed to replace the insoles on any boots I’ve purchased. So I decided to give these shoes a shot and I’m glad I did. When I first received them and tried them on, I could tell they were going to be great for my feet. BUT!!! I could not wear them at work right out of the gate. Admittedly I did try and had to change shoes half way through the day because they were rubbing above my right ankle due to the stiffness of the leather, to my delight the insole was great, and having no pain on my feet was a relief. I decided to wear them after work and on the weekends so I could break them in over a period of 4 to 5 weeks. Eventually they began to soften up a bit and I again tried them at work. And they are now a boot that I can wear all day and not think about my feet. I highly suggest these shoes, they are worth the money. I would not spend the time righting a review with this much detail unless I believed this boot is a life saver and I’m hoping that others out there that have foot issues such as myself can also make the decision to purchase these boots. Also as an extra bonus they actually look really good and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments.
