Good quality plug adapter with red LED light to let you know if you have power at teh receptacle. The LED came in handy when I lost power on the boat. Thought I tripped the inverter breaker, but checked the LED and it was not lit, so I knew where to go to reset it.

hello, this male 30 amp plug to the 15 amp single adapter allows you to use any marine electrical shore power pigtail adapter for your everyday power tools. the fit and finish of this marinco adapter is outstanding. marinco makes quality shorepower cords and adapters. this adapter allows you to hook up your regular 30 amp three prong shore power cord for an always on situation. you will need a L5-30 Male to (2) L5-30 Female Y Adapter (7732) whether is is from marinco or from high tide cords to get the additional female 30 amp outlet. then, this adapter will give you more options for everyday use from one 30 amp shore power outlet. but, the additional female 2 prong allows you to convert the 30 amp to a regular two prong 15 amp outlet for your everyday electrical needs: power tools, lights, etc. a neat way to always allow your 30 amp shore power cord to be continuously hooked up and powered, while allowing power tools to be used in the same outlet. a neat solution.

We bought this adapter to be able to supply 110 volt 15 amp electric power to our fifth wheel's main 30 amp system at home and when dry camping with a small generator. The size and weight of the pigtail adapter make connecting to a 50 foot 15 amp extension cord easy work compared to getting the heavy 30 foot 30 amp standard power cord out every time.Very well made item. Very fair value. Works as expected. Glad I choose this item.

I needed an easy way of connecting power to my RV to charge batteries and use low amperage tools. No Air Conditioning! My situation, I have to use about 100 feet of 12 gauge extension cords to reach the closest power plug when the RV is in storage. This Pigtail eliminates having to use the regular heavy duty power cord to attach to the RV entrance power plug. I would purchase the item again if needed. I am happy with the products from this Vendor and recommend to other buyers.
