My sailboat is only 20 feet and this is overkill for that size of boat, but I always edge on the side of safety. This cleat with four 1/4 fasteners (not included) when paired with a backing plate is strong enough to be used as a tow cleat using heavier strand than docking line. First rate marine hardware.
