DO NOT BUY THIS. it is made in Taiwan and the distance is not the 3 inches it is supposed to be. Its more like 3.125. You will be letting a lot of lobsters go that are not legal according to the gage but in reality they are legal.

I purchased this Aluminum Lobster Gauge to have while fishing from my Kayak. If needed it will be used and it takes up little space or has so little weight, I can just leave it tied to my Anchor positioner rope. I don't catch much so, I can look at it while needing something to do, when I am not catching fish. Made in China. One star removed, from the four I would give it for price, but it is OK.
