These are a 5 star product, except that they have a ridge on the bottom/end of post meant to capture them in the base. I had to grind the ridge off to get them to pull out of the base, so one star is removed for making them captured. By grinding the edge of the ridge off, they were not harmed in any way, but I had to paint them again to guard against corrosion due to the grinding.On the other hand, if I wanted them to be captured, then it is a 5 star product.

This seat mount is great, it is made of quality materials and so far it rust resistant. I fish in the ocean and so far it shows no ware. East to install and is a great value.

Just what you would expect. Heavy duty seat base with strong welds and heavy coating. Only difference from the big box stores is this one is a better price point and I didn't have to interrupt fishing days to go to a store to buy it. I'd buy it again.

This boat seat plate is very solid and well built. Install was easy and lined right up. The plate and post work perfectly for fishing seats. The post fits right into existing stands without issue, they just don't screw in which I prefer so I can easily remove them.
