Much better than the fixed cleats. Fold down and stay down. No rattling or anything. Finish still looks new after 1 year on the boat.

Bought this item after a fellow camper van aficionado installed a similar product as an aid for closing the sliding door from the inside of his van. The cleat is solidly constructed. I mounted it to the windowsill of the sliding door with some SS screws and locknuts. It suits my purpose perfectly.

I really like these things I have an install them yet but they should work out nice the low profile is sweet we’ll just see how long they last in the salt water but nothing last too long in the salt waterThey are pricey though but I think they’ll be worth the money

Very well made folding cleat. I mounted on the top of the gunwales of a 1955 Feathercraft aluminum boat. They are well made and work great. Nice to not have a cleat sticking up to catch clothes, feet, fishing line, etc.
