I bought this because we like to take intertubes and paddle boards to the lake after work to cool down from heat and relax. Often the wind blows and it sends us across the lake and we have to paddle all the way back when we really want to be lazy and not have to work. We bought this. It is our answer. We paddle out from shore to our perfect spot and drop anchor . We don’t move - we can listen to music, have a cold one, visit, or take a nap without ever moving an inch. If you are on the fence- buy it. Worth every penny.

Built for PWC, but my boat probably weighs 1500lbs max. (20' allison w/200 merc). This anchor is plenty to hold the boat in 99% of situations. If there were heavy storms or high winds, I'd be hauling ass back to the dock or boat ramp. Padded carrying case is ventilated to help the rope dry. Just perfect for small boats.

We go out on our dinghy every day in the summer and use this to anchor it so we don’t drift in the changing tides. It’s easy to use and easy to pack up when we leave. Holds every single time. Highly recommend

Seems odd that Light Weight would be a review item on an anchor.Aaaanyways, this is a beautifully packaged design. The padded bag is a great feature as it keeps the anchor from making a ton of racket in the boat. There is a lock ring that keeps the anchor prongs open or closed. I found that only opening one or two would allow me to slowly drift and fish longer runs. The rope is soft and definitely strong enough for the task. The thickness makes it easy to weigh anchor.
