My granddaughter got this from us for Christmas. She loved it!!! Really good sturdy size because she’s a rambler with her toys. She’s just one so she loved putting the animals in the carts and the carts stay together while she makes it go .

This is a cute engaging toy for toddles and young children. The primary colours are very vibrant, the shapes rounded and safe and the noise tolerable to adults and the whole set appears to be well made of quality plastic. Wagons are detachable and the animals can also be removed for individual play. Each component is on wheels and engages with a different motion.This train set comes in a giftable box and should meet with the approval of most parents. It is clear that this “Forest Train” is aimed at another market than North America – it definitely does not contain what we are accustomed to as forest animals

This is just a wonderful, safe and engaging toy! "Cute" really hits all the points!It is made of mostly of a hard, brightly coloured plastic parts, along with some other parts - the the wheels - that are a bit different. These parts offer up a bit more grip on hard surfaces, which for this toy, is important.All the wheels on the engine, and the two pull cars behind, have crazy off-set wheels. The engine and cars run straight, but because of the angle of the outside diameter, the wheels have a wonderful, wonky kind of motion. It really adds to the unique looks of this train moving along!The engine has a big red button on top of the smoke stack and pushing this give you some lovely "tut-tut" sounds along with a couple of catchy tunes. Two double A batteries in the base supply the power, and a switch located in the same area, provides either soft or louder volume. What a nice feature that is!All the various pieces have either decals or painted details on them. Again, very colourful! The two train cars can hook up in either order, and the two animals - a zebra and an alligator (or maybe it's a crocodile, never could get those two straight!) ride on either pull car. Both animals have some of those crazy wheels, so again, they have more of that wonderful, fun movement.The little tiger runs on two large wheels and his movements remind me of those two-wheel devices that some people run around on. He is weighted on the bottom so as much as you push him, he stays upright. In addition, when he is running the engine, his wheels are mated up to some wheels in he's seat, so as the train moves, so does he.Bottom Line - It really is a simply toy, but it is so well done! The colours, the movements of the various pieces, and the soundtrack, all ad up to a great toy! And of course, all the pieces can be played with separately.

This little train toy has been an absolute hit at my house. Both a 1 year old and a 2.5 year old have had fun rolling it around and playing with it. The train and all of the cars that attach to it roll very easily and the wheels are pretty smooth. The toy is well constructed and feels decently durable, so even with young children playing with it, they won't get broken easily. The variety in the animals on the train is really nice as well as it provides both a good option in colours and shapes.While pricey, this is a pretty awesome toy that kids will be sure to get enjoyment out of.
