This is a nice soft rope and appears to be a advertised EXCEPT I thought I was getting a product made by Martin Saddlery as advertised but instead I got a product made by Cashel. That would've made me not by it for the cost of $47 (after tax). You expect to pay that for MS but not for Cashel.Otherwise seems to be a nice product. We'll see after we use it some.

I was tying my own hobbles with a cotton lead but hated that they would cinch up as my mare roamed the pasture while she grazed. These are the answer. They are very well made and quick/easy to apply and remove. They stay on without issue and if she decides to hop across the pasture, when she stops they are as tight as when applied (no tighter). With use about 3 times a week for approx 6 hours, she has had no rubbing issues. I use them for a mare that is very hard to catch and after getting her used to hobbling, she does very well in them. She is a high-strung horse and the hobble training has created more mental stability, as she’s learned to settle underpressure, instead of fighting it. I highly recommend them.

Never had a rope hobble before, used leather ones before. Really like it, does the trick!
