My son has played baseball for years; he out grew is previous bat and when he started using this bat…wow! His game improved greatly. And with all the rules and regulations on baseball equipment this was a perfect fit!

We have found it unnecessary to buy the latest year Bat model. It's more important to buy a good bat-year bat from the maker. This bat was a replacement for a 2019 much used Louisville Slugger Solo that handle broke - but was a favorite of my almost 14-year old. The Solo swings noticably lighter. The heavier swing and break-in period caused initial misgivings but after a couple BP outings and practices, this bat has more pop than the Solo if initially less bat control - until he strengthens us. My only personal negative is the CATs signature loud "ping" even though bbcor.

My 12 year old is really enjoying this bat. Easy to handle, has great pop, no sting on contact, and much more lightweight than what we were expecting with a BBCOR bat. This is my sons first BBCOR drop 3 bat, we went from usssa drop 10 and this bat was a smooth transition for him. It is also reasonably priced for a Marucci or comparable bats.
