Had nonstop issues with this product disconnecting from network and now the COMPANY NO LONGER SELLS THIS PRODUCT OR ANY STORK PRODUCTS. Just check the masimo website. The app will only work for another year stops June 2026

As a first time parent I did as much research as possible for our monitor. I chose this one purely on the brand background, but I’ll sadly be returning. It is constantly disconnecting itself which sets off the alarm and WAS putting us into a panic. Now we’re so desensitized to the alarm going off that I fear we wouldn’t act seriously if it was going off for something serious. Another issue I have is there is no way to modify the alarm to be louder. (Which I guess has been great since it goes off all the time for connectivity lol) but again, if there was a serious issue, would we wake up to the quiet alarm in time? We’ll be going to the owlet and saving the substantial cost difference

Yes this is same medical O2 sensor that is used in the hospital good design yes App can use some polish but the product it self works when compare to Owlet Dream socks it was way off and all over giving you false alert. If you want to monitor 02 for your baby get this.

If I can recommend anything it is to go with the owlet, I have had nothing but problems with the stork. The boot and hub will not pair with Bluetooth which it requires the moment it’s connect it disconnects, then instantly wants you to update both boot and hub, which unpairs it again. I never had issues like this with my owlet, I was so excited for the stork hearing it supposed to be better then owlet and so far it is nothing but disappointing, I plan to return if I can and get my money back because I’m not gonna deal with these issues every night just to get peace of mind that my baby is okay when I can’t trust it will stay connected.

This is a great option for live readings and historical data. It's not a medical device without a prescription, so it does not have the same functions as an Owlet would. If you're looking for something with live reading alarms, that would be the better option. We use the Stork during the day to share info with medical providers, and Owlet at night for peace of mind.

We have used both owlet and the stork boot.First, the Stork has far less connectivity issues than we experienced with owlet (we had both the smart sock and converted dream sock)…that’s the only upside. The Stork app has huge room for improvement. It ONLY alerts you if baby is on their stomach, and it is not loud enough to wake you. It does not give you any summary of sats overnight and you have to manually scroll back to see the history. There is no option to go back and select a past date/time other than manually scrolling (incredibly time consuming) Also, the temperature feature seems irrelevant as the temperature of babies foot is not even close to babies actually body temperature. It would be helpful for spot checking sats when baby is sick or if you are concerned, but unless you stay up all night watching the live readings this thing is virtually useless. For continuous monitoring and alerts in the event of an emergency, I would definitely stick to owlet.Overall this is a great concept, from a very reputable company, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

So I have to admit, when we first started exploring options for a baby monitor, Masimo Stork was not in our consideration. Frankly never heard of the brand and didnt know much about the product. When i began my research I stumbled across the Stork product and started to do some homework. Masimo as it turns out is the leading sensor brand across hospitals specializing in pulse oximetry sensors. I also read that the guy who founded the company started by inventing a way to measure blood oxygen levels in premature babies. How amazing is that?We ended up buying the stork. I didnt go for the VItals+ because I already had in room monitoring but I kind of regret since it would have been nice to have an integrated system. So the experience so far has been really positive. The boot is super soft. At first I wanted a sock but then realized it wasnt likely that any sensor would stay secure in that format. The Stork boot is easy to use on and off and pretty well made. The details the sensor provides my family and i are amazing. I am not the most technically inclined but the data this device puts out is easily referenced and supported in the app. Luckily no major health scares to date so I dont have any emergencies to brag about and I hope it stays that way. But I feel safer with this than without.I may buy a second sensor to have 24 hour monitoring but that may be overkill. But I would really love to have the peace of mind.No real unboxing or set up complaints. Pretty simple. I have a netgear home modem with the Netgear orbi mesh router set up. Coverage in the baby room is great and the device seamlessly connected.Pretty awesome to see a brand like Masimo break out of the hospital world and into the home. It is exactly who I should think should be making products like this.

This set is perfect for new parents who prioritize the safety and well-being of their baby while they rest in their crib. It's important to note that this kit is designed exclusively for crib use and should not be left on all day. The battery life exceeds a single night, but it's a good practice to recharge it daily for added security. As long as the boot is connected to your home's Wi-Fi network you can monitor the stats form anywhere in the world. The accompanying app provides essential information such as your baby's temperature, heart rate, and oxygen saturation, as well as room temperature and relative humidity levels. The materials used are exceptionally soft silicone, ensuring there is no discomfort or chafing.
