Gives a good protection to new trees if you don’t want to use latex paint. I have it 4 stars because the plastic is a little brittle and may crack when you cut it to length.

This item is effective for keeping the deer off from rutting my trees, easy to apply. However I have had instances where it was not long enough. I would prefer for it to be longer.

Nice and flexible to wrap around tree trunk. Seemed a little pricey for plastic which will fail in the elements outside over time. There should be some kind of UV protection added to the plastic for longevity since it is a premium price for plastic. Plastic should only cost a few cents to make, just look at the number of plastic items at a dollar store. Yes, this is made in the US, but it is a machine process to roll and drill holes. Delivery costs to customer should be minimal for the seller as it is in the US and not imported. A little pricey for two short pieces but seems to be keeping the cat from clawing the tree for now. There could easily be four pieces in the bag for the price. Does its job but at a high cost.

Good sturdy material, should provide protection from string trimmer damage as intended. Easy to apply but definitely for smaller diameter trunk.
