I got this to clean my miniatures and models and it does what it says on the tin. It works great for brushing dust off, and I like having both the larger softer side and the shorter stiffer side. I'm not sure if the "anti-static" feature is doing anything beyond a regular brush, but it does the job.

When my meticulous nature meets the intricate world of model building, nothing but the best tools will suffice. That's why I turned to the Matrix Anti Static Overall Dual-Action Cleaning Brush, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer.This brush is a true artist's companion, effortlessly navigating the most delicate crevices and contours of my miniature masterpieces. Its dual-action bristles not only sweep away stubborn dust particles but also gently brush away any static cling, ensuring a flawless finish. While its precision is undeniable, I must admit that the handle's grip could be improved for extended usage sessions. Nevertheless, the Matrix brush has become an indispensable ally in my quest for immaculate detailing, truly painting perfection one stroke at a time.

This anti-static brush kit works well for doing a final touch-up of my vinyl LP records just before playing them. I have a vinyl record cleaning machine that does an excellent job of cleaning my records. However, when I get the record to the record player and get it on the turntable platter, I often notice that the record has already picked up a few specks of dust or debris. The larger brush does a great job of removing them before I play the record. This helps prevent the record stylus from picking up this debris and affecting the sound. Also, vinyl records pick up static very easily, so it is great that this brush is anti-static.FYI: The product pictures make it a bit unclear if the smaller brush is a separate brush or not. As you can see from my pictures, the small brush is on the opposite end of the larger brush and the brush handle snaps over it when you are not using it.If you need a brush for touch-up cleaning of LP vinyl records or other intricate detail cleaning work, this brush may be what you are looking for.

I've built models of many types since I was old enough to cut plastic parts from the sprues unsupervised. No, it wasn't recently! It was many moons in the dim recesses of the second half of the last Century.Sorry for the tangent. Dusting was a perennial issue. Models have many delicate pieces; even a swiffer-like duster breaks these pieces off. Eventually, my parents purchased an antique umbrella case to house my collection in a dust-free enclosure. However, I filled the case, and today, I have some models outside cheerfully collecting dust, fine cat hair, and the like. So, when I saw this tool specifically designed to solve my model dusting problem, I grabbed it. Drum roll, please. It works great! Let's talk about the brush itself. The thing Iike the most is the large fan brush. Exceptionally soft and delicate, it got into the intricate details on my model and cleaned it as nice as can be. See pictures 1 and 2 for a before and after shot. The compact end works well on solidly cemented parts like the spare tracks at the rear of the Sherman tank model. The other test I ran was my sailing vessel. The rigging is especially hard to keep clean, and the fan brush did it perfectly. If you have a model collection or even intricate and fragile collectibles of any kind, buy this brush and banish your fear of breakage during dusting.

I don't have instruments to measure ionization so I can't definitively say on statid, but using styrofoam peanut pieces to check for static yielded good results(static charge collects dust, which is why antistatic is a good thing)otherwise, I wish there were more to say besides it's a good brush -- the sleeve does protect the bristlesthe smaller brush (hidden in the handle) is shorter with slightly stiff bristles due to length I suppose, which can help with a little more focused sweeping, but still isn't abrasive, just slightly slighty stifferif you are a modeller or have 400 year old stoneware (which I do) this is nice

I don't have any negatives for the brush. It is delicate for delicate tasks and works well to dust off small items.

I have a collection of very small and detailed metal models that I built during the pandemic for something to keep me busy. They are so light and detailed I had no way at all to dust them... I tried compressed air once, and it just blew them off the shelf. These anti-static cleaning brushes are absolutely perfect for keeping these dusted without risk of damage or knocking them off the shelf.

Bristles are not good. Really doesn't work at all. Can't even knock any dust off with this.
