The reason for the low stars is because first, the shipping took longer than it should have. It seemed like it sat there for a while before it shipped. I didn't start to move until I tried to request a refund through Amazon since it had taken so long and wasn't moving. All of a sudden, then next day it was sent and there were no issues on the shipping side.When they arrived, the whole box was completed wrapped with tape. After the box was finally opened, they were in a bag and tacky feeling. We're not sure if because the box was so tightly packed if moisture got in here and caused the problem or if they were packaged too soon. They are having to sit out and "dry".Other than those issues, the are cute.

These Russian nesting dolls are absolutely beautiful! You can really see the detail and quality in the craftsmanship. They are sturdy, but come apart easily. I am so pleased with this purchase and cannot wait to give it to my niece for her 3rd bday especially because Frozen is her favorite movie!

I ordered this for my "Frozen" loving 4 year old niece for Christmas last year. She loved a nesting doll of animals at her grandmother's house, so I believed this would be perfect for her! What I didn't realize that it would be coming from Russia, so it didn't arrive in time for Christmas. I got it in about 6 weeks, but it was well worth the wait. It appears to be hand made and hand painted. It still had saw dust. It also included a small version that was unpainted, so she could paint her own. The nesting dolls look just like the advertised photo. I was also intrigued by the packing slip and envelope as it came from Babushka!!
