Really pleasantly surprised with the quality of this thing, it solid metal and heavy in the hand with a nice finish’s easy to use mechanism, easy to install.I just wish it didn’t come with the overflow plate as we didn’t need that and now it’s wasted.

I recently installed the Welsan All Metal Tub Drain and Overflow Kit, and I’m really impressed with the quality. Old drain corroded and broke. Had to buy a special tool to remove it. Old one might have been composite or two types of material since the + broke off in the middle. Installing the new one was a breeze. Had the normal tool, added plumbers putty, twisted into place and ran a bead of silicone around. Done. Ended up doing both tubs in the house with these drains.

We replaced the shower fixtures in our kids bathroom and went with matte black instead of sticking with chrome. Our home was built in the late 90's and had all the original features. I was able to swap the old tub drain with this new one with no issues at all. The thread matched up perfectly, the size was perfect, and the functionality is great! Works as it's supposed to. My husband wasn't too set on buying a new drain at first, as the old one was perfectly fine. So we technically didn't NEED a new one but I wanted the color of the drain to match the rest of the fixtures. After swapping it out with this one and seeing the end result, he's glad we got it. It helped tie everything together and looks very sleek. We love it!

I switched all my chrome fixtures for bronze in anticipation of selling my home. The drain and cover plate were impossible to find in the box stores. Found these on Amazon and fit and look perfect! Had some trouble with drain top not staying in place when tub drained! Glad to say I finally got that figured out!
