I bought these erasers to supplement very similar ones that we had gotten at the beginning of the school year from the school. Those erasers had gotten destroyed fairly quickly, and I knew that I needed some things simultaneously practical, and that would play into my system of my classroom.Let’s start with the product itself. The eraser is medium quality. It definitely will get the job done when it comes to erasing, but the phone block is not as high-quality as similar brands. It is a little awkward in a grown-ups hands, but seems to work really well for my fourth grade students. The magnet on the inside is strong and functional, it sticks really well to all whiteboards, including student whiteboards.One solid benefit about these erasers as compared to other brands is the evident color coding options. I know that a lot of people are going to look at that and just think they are cute and roll with it. However, in my classroom, I created a color coding system where there are four students at each table and, each student is assigned a color. That color is their color for their pencil top eraser, pencil, grip, and eraser. This helps when navigating engagement strategies such as those recommended in the 7 Steps to a Language Rich Classroom. By being able to assign the same eraser color as the other items, students maintain, it becomes really easy to say things like “I need the purple person at table 4 to tell me…”Overall, I am fine with this purchase. They definitely are higher quality whiteboard erasers on the market but, let’s be real, is that really necessary for elementary school? Definitely not.

These dry erase erasers are a perfect addition to any classroom or setting that needs multiple erasers for several people. They’ve been in steady use for a few months now and are holding up great. Highly recommend for anyone looking for durable erasers that get the job done!

Sometimes quantity wins over quality, and middle school math classrooms with student white board needs is definitely one of those times/places. These erasers will not last year over year, but they will get me through the year and at the price, it is a GREAT value. The erase job is also decent, so it saves many tissues and paper towels.
