This kit was easy to install and the main bracket seems plenty sturdy enough to last a while. The fitment was pretty good, didnt need to modify things too much. Looking back I wish I would have welded more of the holes instead of drilling out so many, but its whatever. After install I dont notice any excessive flexing or movement.

Its heavy gauge steel . Built right to the angles of my 2002 Silverado 1500 2wd pickup truck. Comes with all necessary hardware for installing aswell as new low profile bump stops. I've done 100s of custom suspension systems and car builds over the years and very shocked at the value in this kit. IT IS JUST A REAR AXLE LOWERING KIT YOU WILL STILL NEED TO PURCHASE A FRONT END LOWERING SYSTEM AND SHORT SHOCK ABSORBERS FOR THE REAR . STILL A GREAT VALUE THO.

I bought this maXpeedingrods Frame C-Notch Kit for my ‘04 Silverado because my truck was getting way too cozy with the axle after lowering it. Let’s just say my spine and my dignity couldn’t take another “unexpected” speed bump incident.Installation was straightforward—if you know your way around a grinder and a drill, you’re golden. If not, well… prepare to make some memories. The steel is solid, the fitment is spot-on, and now my truck rides smoother than my excuses when my wife asks why I keep buying parts.Would I recommend it? Absolutely. My truck no longer sounds like it’s auditioning for a demolition derby every time I hit a pothole. 10/10, would notch again!

These caps did exactly what they were supposed, replaced the old smashed pieces with the new one, having all new hardware also made it easier!

Heavy steel plate- decent C notch- Should work just fine! I'm going to weld them in as opposed to bolting- but if you aren't hauling loads- the bolt set will probably work just fine!
