Fun to watch the chrome finish burn off on first run. Doesn't effect performance.

Der Schalldämpfer war gedacht um eine Diesel Standheizung die wir als dachzeltheizung gebaut haben leiser zu bekommen.Die Geräuschdämmende Wirkung war jedoch genauso gering wie bei den billigsten China Schalldämpfern die eigentlich nur ein Rohr darstellen.Die Messung hat ergeben dass wir ca 3 Dezibel leiser werden in 1 m Entfernung.Das kann man machen, ist auch dem Preis entsprechend, aber führt nicht dazu dass man neben so einer Heizung schlafen kann.

I used to have these on my lawn tractors when I was a kid 30 years ago. I just bought a pair of these to make a dual exhaust for my lawn tractor so it sounds like a Chinook is mowing the grass, love it. One thing I suggest if you have a welder is to tack weld the seam where the 2 case halves meet, they can loosen up.

This is a quality made muffler. Some reviews stated the chrome plating burned off after minutes of engine operation, this incorrect! The muffler has a zinc or other type of coating. Even if it had an actual chrome plating it would not survive the extreme heat generated by the exhaust. If the machine that this muffler is installed on is stored out of the weather elements it should last several years. I would purchase it again!

It does what it should. Not too loud but not too quiet. it looks nice and shiny but it's just paint and will fall off after one use. no negative impact on power

"Chrome" peels off with first heat cycle. NOT a good cosmetic upgrade. However, used on my "stage 1" built Predator 212 screwed directly into my aftermarket exhaust flange (no pipe between) it has provided excellent performance and flow while remaining reasonably quiet. Kart is still very fast and the neighbors aren't mad anymore. Recommended.

It fit perfectly, but the outer housing eventually came loose. If you tune your carb too rich and it backfires this muffler won't hold up to that!

To call this a piece of junk is to insult junk. I put it on my chipper, ran the motor for 15 minutes and the chrome platting began to fall off. It is called a muffler, but it doesn't muffle the noise.

For being cheap this is really good. The chrome cover it has on it all peeled after it cooled off but it doesn't bother me. Just put it out there for people that like it all nice and shinny
