Bow-mounted windlass foot switches - a must for operating a boat alone - easily wear out when exposed for years to salt water. Replacing the switch can be a real bother with wiring issues and mounting problems. Not so here. Easy replacement and wired to fit (old) existing connections. Ten minute maximum to a fully operation switch. Seems to be well-sealed as well and should stand the salt spray well. Highly recommend.

The problem is that they mention in the items included a spacer which was not included; so when you close the cap it doesn't stay close!Really disappointed. The black rubber foots witch is too high to close the cap the spacer is needed! Amazing should follow up with supplyer to make sure that all items are included as advertised....
