Bought this for my 5100 and I had to use a dremmel tool to make the knobs that slide in brackets smaller to fit.At least this one was made of steel rather than the original that was make of cheap pot metal that broke very easily and when it broke the spriing went up and cracked the cover - which I repaired with some epoxy.

The max air fan comes with horrible pot metal and it broke in less than a week. I installed this replacement and it works way better.
