This is a very large pad, covers my western pad with several inches to spare front and back. It is heavy, well made, and has held up well over the last 5 months of consistent use. I have washed it once in cold water, hung to dry, and it looks brand new. No color transfer, bright, and true to color. It does get some stains from my saddle rubbing on it but it washed out just fine. The edges stay flat, don't curl, and it hasn't snagged or frayed at all.

This pad is beautiful and so functional. It lays perfect on the back, lays flat and drapes well. It's nice and cushy as an extra pad over a thick wool pad. And I can use an old, ugly wool pad and then put this over and it covers it perfectly--and looks so nice. I embellished it with little fabric patches and rhinestones for a show, but have also been using it for trail riding.And good news! You CAN wash this in the washing machine! I used cold water, gently cycle and the tiniest bit of natural detergent. The company says not to use soap cause it may not all rinse out, but they also say don't use a washing machine. LOL So I compromised.It came out beautifully and is now hanging to dry in the basement.

It was a little annoying that my 3 blankets came in 3 different packages but they were packaged nicely and their colors are rich rich rich! The fandango pink one is a perfect example of pink. It's not hot pink and it's not fuschia (the deep pink). The yellow and burgundy look exactly as pictured. The pink looks a little different, but this specific pink was the perfect color pink! I'm glad I did not get fuschia, it wouldve been too dark! Thank you so much and I have many more to order for my trail riding business!

I have several mayatex blankets and really like them all. They sit well on the horses back and do not curl on the corners or shift around. They wash well and there are so many colors to choose from. You can't get a better blanket for the price. I highly recommend them. I have a wide price range of different blankets from mayatex and like them all.

I was very pleased with the quality and color of this blanket, as well as the weight. Unfortunately, it was too large for my horse who has a short back. I was hoping to find a way to make it work but could not do so. I had to return it.

So far I am very pleased with this blanket. I have ordered Mayatex acrylic blankets in the past and they are good, but this wool blend is REALLY nice. I ordered the Kelly Green. It is a true, vibrant hue and I have already gotten several compliments on how nice it looks on my sorrel appaloosa mare.
