Compared to an inexpensive Ingersoll Rand spot weld cutter this bit would not cut well and just beat the heck out of the sheet metal instead. I wouldn't recommend it and it makes me question how good their other bits are. Unfortunately, I already ordered a different bit at the same time I ordered this one. I'll add a review on it also once I get it and use it. I ended up using the old beat-up Ingersoll Rand spot weld cutter to finish the spot weld cuts.

*update: After it dulled I ground the tip to a chisel like angle, much less rounded then it came originally. Seems to be holding up better.I used this for about 30 secs on some spot welds on a 50 year old Mustang. My chisel knocked them out easily but this thing dulled like it was mild steel. Waste of money.

Nice quality air hammer bit, fit my IR max perfectly. I took a star off because the photo is misleading, it looks like a straight piece in the picture but it is not. I understand most panel splitters for air hammers have the bend, I have one like that already, but part of why I purchased this one was because I thought it was going to be straight due to the picture. But it is a quality piece and the bend is not as harsh as my other one so I'm still happy with it
