Surprisingly small, especially for the price. Some reviews mentioned them breaking but I have not had a chance to use them yet.These are stubby and have 1/4in square drive holes in the bottom so they should occasionally be useful. It's nice the set includes a 7/16 because few alan/hex sets do.The main downside is they do jot have any retaining mechanism for using them with ratchet wrenches. A lock ring like on an impact or a spring ball would be very helpful.

Used this with a 13mm / 1/2" ratcheting box wrench to remove the 2 lower bolts on a rear hub on a B8.5 Audi A4 Quattro WITHOUT removing the lower A-Arm bolt. Worked perfect!

I'm a mechanic who does a lot of repairs at home, and I wanted another stuby Allen set with an octagon head for a wrench, and square socket compatibility.In short, I love having clearance.This set is for 1/4" sockets, and 7/16" (or 11mm) wrenches. I wish that the larger Allen sizes were for 3/8 sockets.The sockets are very light, and don't feel like they can stand a high torque, but they stood up to some force. I had to break a low clearance differential fill plug, and it was on tight, but the socket did not crack. That's a great start in my book.My Mac set feels far sturdier than this set, as the sockets have much more weight, but this set has performed perfectly today.If the set fails, I'll update this review.

I love all these small sets of titanium coated 1/4in square bit sockets. They work well and after over a year of use have not failed yet. Well worth it over tool trucks equivalent.

I didn't realize these were 1/4 drive until they arrived.I was initially disappointed because I needed 3/8 drive, but after using these I've come to appreciate them a lot more. Actually they are very handy, and the shortest hex bit set I've seen. Great for areas with very little clearance.The product description could be more clear, but product itself is great!
