Perfect! As a sculptor, I often need a spare tray table for tools or materials. A huge bonus of this one is that it is made of stainless steel, which is super easy to keep clean and not much sticks to it either. It has wheels, so I can roll it anywhere I need to, with a light touch. I find this one of the handiest things in the studio! It's likewise useful when my spouse is doing dying with textiles, because again, this thing doesn't stain. SO easy to clean up!

This stainless steel stand is a great item to have. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. The tray doesn't attach, so just beware not to let it tip over. It is seated inside, so it doesn't shake or move unnecessarily. It looks so nice and it's very easy to move around. It's on wheels.

I got this to help me with some resin art on a large piece. I sit in my rolling chair and keep my resin on this tray as I move around. The 5 feet on this makes it feel extra secure when I am rolling it around. I have not had any toppels! I like that the tray is removed from the stand as it makes it really easy to clean up after. It feels really sturdy and is easy to adjust!

I genuinely want to give this tray five stars, but it falls short on the base. The welds are poorly done, and the collar at the base is made of plastic instead of metal. It’s challenging to keep the roller feet properly seated. The tray is generously sized, and since you can adjust the height, it can be utilized in numerous settings, as the description suggests. This review is for ASIN: B0DLHWVBP6Houseables Mayo Stand, Mayo Tray, Medical Tray on Wheels, Esthetician Tray, Tattoo Tray, Hairstylist Tray, Salon Rolling Tray, Hair Salon Cart, Salon Tray, Stainless Steel, Adjustable Height 31”- 49”

I got this mostly because I needed a tool tray that I could move around when I am working on different projects around the house. I am not a doctor or anything that nature, but when I saw this with the casters and the adjustable height tray I thought to myself that this would be an extremely useful tool in itself. The removable tray is an especially useful feature which makes cleaning easier and putting it together a breeze. Overall I am happy with the product. It isn’t super heavy duty but considering what it is meant for I think it fits the bill for what most people would be using it for. Obviously be careful not to abuse it, but I think it is a decent budget friendly option for anyone who owns a salon or even perhaps a dental office or the like.

Despite my awarding four stars for this product, it's worth the effort to assemble. You will need an adjustable wrench or a 10mm and a 17mm wrench. The instructions show mineral oil being applied to the casters.Well, however, we also need a rubber mallet. The holes in the base were too small for the ring on the caster's stem, which made me a little angry, but I had the mallet to take out my anger, and all was good in the end.I had to use the rubber mallet to pound the casters into the holes. I was concerned I would break the plastic casters, but they survived my assembly process. The welding is subpar, but it will not break the weld. This is only a cosmetic issue because we are a manufacturing company, and I notice these little details. We will use these trays for small tools to roll around to the various assembly areas.Later, if the upper bolt mounting holds up to moving the tray around our work areas, we will buy more trays.

This should be a straightforward item to assemble and to use. The instructions, however, are a disaster. First of all, at some point, the manufacturer revised their instructions, which is fine…except my item included the old sheet and the new sheet (which are nearly identical). That wasn’t confidence-inspiring. The biggest change was that somewhere along the way, they realized that the casters don’t just “pop into” the legs of the base, and now include a tiny bottle of lubricant (more on this in a sec). The single bolts/screws (and yes, it’s literally just one that goes up under the base to hold the main pole, and one that holds the tray frame to the pole extension) come threaded into the poles, which is fine. But the instructions are unreasonably vague, and the diagrams are fairly useless unless you zoom into it at about 10x magnification. They say “Unscrew the hardware at the top of the Adjustment Rod and use it to attach the Adjustment Rod to the Tray Frame,” without clarifying where to put the flat washer and the lock washer. (TIP: put the lock washer onto the bolt, THEN put the flat washer onto the bolt, THEN push the bolt up into the base or down into the tray frame.)Also, be aware that the instructions say “An adjustable wrench and/or ratchet is needed for this assembly.” Don’t skip this: the stand will be an unstable, wobbly mess without tightening everything appropriately. (Also, if you’re including a small tube of lubricant – which, by the way, must have the tip of the spout cut with a sharp knife or scissors in order to use…be careful! – you can include a little hex wrench, like, y’know, almost every other assemble-it-at-home product does…)The tray fits nicely into the tray frame, though even with a wrench-tightening, the fact that it’s held on with just a single screw/bolt instead of two (which would have been easy enough to manufacture) makes the frame feel a bit unstable. The hand-tightened/loosened knob for height adjustment functions well.Finish was nice and shiny, though the base had mars and surface scratches on it, with some of the chrome-looking finish chipped/flaked off. Nothing that’s going to be a hugely noticeable issue, however. The biggest issue is the casters/wheels. They are AWFUL. I cannot state this powerfully enough: AWFUL. They’re lousy plastic, and some of the ones I received have rough seams and/or edges that make me certain they’ll scratch my wood floor. After wrestling to get them into the base (the lubricant was helpful, but shouldn’t be necessary!), I wrestled even harder to remove them. Because of this, I can’t roll it around. I have a felt pad/slider under each leg now, so I can drag it around, but that’s not nearly as smooth as reliable rolling action would be.The most insulting thing about this is that the manufacturer includes a Customer Service phone number and asks you to call if you have any questions. I’ve done that and left messages – twice – and have gotten no response. If Houseables would improve the casters (the nice rubber “in-line skate” ones would be ideal!), fix the assembly instructions, and include a tool for the bolt-tightening, this could be a 4-star or 5-star item. But as it is now, I have a stand that I can’t roll around, and which was frustrating to put together.I’ll update this review with any new developments. In the meantime, thanks for reading; I hope that my review helps you out!
