i tried this several times and every time the punch needle goes through the fabric it just shreds it rather than pushing the weft aside, so it doesn't go back to shape and hold the yarn in place. I did it at the max tension i could get it but the fabric just wouldn't cooperate. i think if it were a fine needle it might work okay, but with the weave being so small on this fabric along with it being made cheaply it just doesn't work. The patterns are cute though, & the yarn is fairly soft, even though there's very little of it. I think it would be a cute set if they included a fine needle or better fabric
