The first part we ordered came in broken. The seller was very understanding and quickly got us our refund so we could get a new one ordered. It only took about 20 minutes to get installed so our daughter could have a/c in her car again.

Not the easiest blower switch to install but not the most difficult, either. Works as expected. This is my second time replacing the switch in my '04 Mazda3, so hopefully it will last a while. For anyone who is trying to diagnose an HVAC issue, the problem starts with the AC not working all the time (green indicator light doesn't come on). Sometimes it works if you wiggle the switch or hit the dashboard. Eventually some of the fan speeds will stop working. Chances are your blower resistor is fine... it's just the way this switch is designed that it loses contact internally after a while.

We installed the new blower and it fit our car perfectly, and was a no worry installation. The blower is awesome and now we have heat in freezing Canada!!! :)

This fixed my ac. The ac light would not come on for fan level 3 and 4. Pretty easy to install once you figure out you don't have to take the control panel all the way out. Once you take the radio out and the center panels out to remove the ash tray. Two screws for radio, ash tray/power, and ac control panel. There is a tab you squeeze on the bottom of the plug to pull it out. Once that's out there is a tab on the bottom of this swich you flip down away form you till it points down (don't break). Pretty easy use a small flat head screw driver. Remove the dial your see the grey post, push slightly on it as you use that flat head to pry the two tab on top till they release. Replace and put back together.

Original part installation was a pain in my 2005 mazda 3 and if your buying this part you’ll find out soon enough...you have to take the whole price out and in order to do this the other 2 knobs that control temperature and location of air flow are manual hooks and there a pain to get off...but if you were to buy from mazda they would cost a fortune

Works great. AC on my 05 Mazda 3 Sport GT was cutting out randomly and would be reset by changing fan speed. Replaced this switch and all is working perfectly again. It took some searching to find out exactly how to open the dash to replace this, but got it done. There is one securement tab that you can't release on the old one to remove it, so you pretty much have to break off the holder in the dash for that one lower tab. Once the new switch is put back in and the dash is reassembled, there doesn't seem to be any play in the switch.

Worked great for my dughters 2005 Mazda 3. Ac was shutting off randomly, apparently the original fan switch had a couple of dead spots in it.
