I finally made it to the big times, I am writing a review about nails! I recently repaired a 90 year old pine buffet and needed 5....old style 'hand made' nails to match the the ones already in the cabinet. The shape of these nails were nearly identical to the 4 I pulled out of the cabinet exept they have a modern finish on them. Of couse once you drive them in and sink them a bit you can hardy see the finish. I filed the heads just enough to remove the finish. The nails are all the same length but there are thin ones and thick ones. The thick ones will split even soft pine the thin ones do not. I wish the box contained more thin ones and less thick ones and no finish and that I could buy a smaller quality but all in all every turned out ok and I have a lifetime supply of maze nails.
