This is the second of the budget HDMI adapters I’ve tried for the OG Xbox. This one is, so far, the better of the 2. I’m assuming it’s because it uses external power. The picture quality and clarity is so much better with this unit compared to the non-powered one I purchased. You will need your own 5v power source.

Not the best picture quality, but it does work and allows use for your original Xbox to work on modern TVs just fine. For the price, you get something that is well made, works well, and makes the video quality slightly better and visible instead of tons of blur. Would recommend you go for one of the better ones for long term use, but if you play once in a while and don't care about having the sharpest image, this will do the trick.
