This was a lifesaver when my Mother was in a care facility. She would get out of bed by herself and often fall. Once we got this alarm if she got up it would ring until someone came and turned it off. They could hear it in the hallway with her door shut. WE had a different one, but it had and on/off button. The CNA's would turn it off and forget to turn it back on at night. Didn't work for us. You can shut off the buzzer, but once you lay down on the pad, it resets it. So much better for our situation.

I use one of these under my mattress that turns everything off at night and on in the morning with an automation. Easy to work with and pair with home assistant.

It's useless without the monitor to plug into. This has happened twice now.
