I ordered two of these, the first damaged in shipment but the second arrived in good shape. I found this aluminum to be very strong and hard to bend without a sheet metal break which I don't have. But a hard rubber mallot and a piece of two by four accomplished the bend I desired. The second hurdle I had was to cut the sheet to size. This aluminum is very hard and resistant to snipping but the problem was easily solved by using a box cutting knife. Two over-lapping cuts, in the same manner as a glass cutter, allowed the metal to snap for a clean break. A thinner sheet would be easier to bend and cut with a snips but the added strength of the .019 thickness was worth the effort for my project.

This had a MD label on it bar code: 43374577945. I called the company and they informed me that it is 3003 aluminum. It doesn't feel like "0" temper it is fairly stiff. Feels similar to 6061-T6 that I really wanted but couldn't find it in the thickness I desired at a reasonable price. It has a couple of crinkles that look like something bumped into it. I doubt if shipping was the cause since it was packaged well. I am going to cut and bend it up into small parts so the crinkles won't cause much of a problem. I knocked a star off for the crinkling but really they tried hard to protect it during shipping.

The material itself is very nice, looks good, and is sturdy and properly cut for the size. But, it arrives unusable. The first panel arrived in a box 3 times the size necessary, bubble wrapped, and the panel had a crease in the middle. Shipping costs alone would have been 3 times the cost of the panel itself based on the box size. I opted to get a replacement, and the next panel had a better fit box, but came out with dents and bent corners. On observation, I believe that they were both shipped already damaged. Both were returned, and I was not willing to try again. An entire waste of resources, and extremely expensive for the seller, and a waste of time for the buyer. Don't understand why they would do this, unless they like to incur losses. By simply putting 2 pieces of cardboard cut the same size as the panel, on each side, then flat boxing it, would protect the panel, save on shipping costs, and the prevent loss from returns due to damage. Would be 5 star is they ever get their shipping and quality control in order.

I ordered this aluminum sheet to cover up an outside door at a child care center that my relative works at. Little kids at the center were scratching the door whenever they were outside play. After some research, and visiting local big chain home improvement stores, I found this product on Amazon, and decided to give it a try, it was easy to instal, it gave the door a brand new look, and serve the purpose of preventing little children from scratching at the door again. I only received compliments after putting it, would recommend to any one who is in the market to purchase the material.

Quality is good and price is right but UPS delivered it to my door damaged. Luckily my project doesn't need the whole piece so I can cut off the damaged corners but if I were doing a project that needed a flat sheet, I would have returned these.

Yeah, I gave it high marks and said fair buy. It was a fair price. As others have said corners were bent a little (I was reshaping it smaller and folding it like a box lid so bent corners non-issue) easy to work with, this thin, yes it is, sturdy ... depends, like puncture resistant, good enough. will it stand on it own, no its too thin. accidental bending, obliviously it can happen (bent corners in shipping) but nothing so bad you cant bend it back about where it was.Was this well packaged, heck yes! These guys have read about the bent corners and have went head-on to correcting it, but not resolved. mine came in a large box about 3" thick, the metal was wrapped in bubble wrap, and cling wrap to keep things from shifting and to prevent metal bending. I'm going to buy more of these (few other projects I think these will be great for)

It was well packaged and arrived with only a slight and small ding. Otherwise the sheet was perfect. I wanted to use the aluminum to line the bottom of my refrigerator ice bucket since it once again developed a hole since it's a thin plastic. Whirlpool and the crap they make! Then I saw the CA warning about cancer and reproductive issue and now having second thoughts. The rotating auger in the bucket is also metal so perhaps I should not worry? I will not return.

These are very nice sheets. I bought two for a PC case I'm building, and while the corners were a little bent upon opening the box, it was not nearly as bad as some of the other pictures I see. I was probably lucky in that regard, though the sheets are easy to bend back into shape. They were very easy to work with and are thin enough to trim with simple metal shears. No grinding or heat needed!A word of warning though, I found out after purchase that aluminum is somewhat finicky to work with when trying to pair it with basically anything. Be ready to get creative!I was very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it!
