The 1-3/8-Inch x 72-Inch Fluted Silver Carpet Trim easily covers a seam or gap between two flooring surfaces of unequal height. Carpet Trim prevents carpet edges from fraying, vinyl floor seams from curling and creates a smooth transition between different flooring surfaces. Aluminum trim is easily secured to wood and concrete floors with provided Screw Nails. For installation on concrete floors use Wooden Pegs (sold separately).

Did the job. It was easy to install and looks better then the one I had before that had a rubber center. It eventually wore out and was tripping people as they entered the door. No trimming required and it came with the long screws I needed to install.

Everything you need for installation comes in the package (nails) minus the tools of course. Was easy to trim with electric saw and installed to cover a door jamb where carpet and tiles met. The angled edge was perfect for the slight difference in height. Durable and is holding up to heavy traffic and wheeled walkers.

Opened the box that had no damage to find it completely bent 90 degrees. The box had no damage which means the seller shipped it to me bent.

This was a lot thinner and cheaper than ones I've had before. It even bends a bit. It's only for my apartment so it's not really a big deal if it isn't fantastic. Plus, I guess you get what you pay for. It does the job okay!

This transition piece is thick!! 2 inches! That’s exactly what I needed!!! I laid flooring in a bathroom and was able to leave the old transition piece attached underneath this one. (Was going from carpet to vinyl) I was able to cut this with tin snips or even a hacksaw would cut it. Then just lay down and use the nails provided.Please let me know if this review was helpful!

I needed some metal carpet trim for several areas in my apartment and after splitting these into a few pieces and removed the old carpet trim strips and installed these new carpet trim strips, those areas look MUCH better! Mine came in such a huge box, but at least it was not all bent out of shape. It comes with some long carpet strip nails, but not long enough in my case and I already had longer and better nails for this particular job. Easy to install, easy to trim down to size and really no big issues with this order. 5 stars!

I bought three of these to transition from carpet to tile floors in the bedroom to bathroom doorways in my house. I had to cut each one to fit and cut a little of both ends instead of cutting just off one end so the nail holes would still be proportionate.They went in easy but I have to say, I didn't care for the nails that were included. Hammering nails in next to porcelain tile is risky. I got them all in without any tiles breaking but I would have preferred screws I think. If I had to do over again, I would have bought some screws to mount them.

Very pleased. Arrived fast and did exactly what we wanted to do. Our dog had torn up our bedroom carpet as a puppy and it frayed over time as it was not been repaired right away. We trimmed the frayed and damaged areas and used some fabric glue to stop the fraying, then put this in! This was a good (and inexpensive, and easy) solution that will keep us from having to replace that carpet for at least a couple more years! We have had trouble finding one wide enough until this point, which was necessary to cover up the damaged areas.

Nice bright shiny silver. It came with nails for easy installation. I had to install this threshold over carpet/ tile. The carpet had begun to recede, but this threshold was wide enough to cover the damage. It is very sturdy, I don't have any concern that it will bend when stepped on. It was easy to cut to length with a jigsaw in seconds.
