How To Prime Your AmeriPour Measured Liquor Pourer
Step 1
Cover the opening with paper towel or clean cloth. Make sure you have a airtight seal.
Step 2
Tilt the bottle into a pouring motion (roughly 60 degree angle) as if you were pouring a drink.
Step 3
Return the bottle to the upright position. Your measured pour spout is now primed!

These automatic measure pourers are perfect! AmeriPour customer service is absolutely terrific too. I messaged them after I thought they weren’t working but it ended up being user error after priming. You do have to turn the bottle up almost all the way over but they stop when they are supposed to and dispense the correct amount ordered. Again truly appreciate the awesome quick customer service from emailing AmeriPour!

There are definitely one or two in the pack that poor a little over what they should, but overall they are great.I got them to help with portion control when I host blind wine tastings at my house. :)

These work pretty good. We've "tested" our way through multiple bottles of whiskey now.The fit spirits bottles, which was a concern for other products.The accuracy isn't perfect, but its mostly there. sometimes a light pour sometimes a heavy pour, most of the time its close enough.

Bought these to use with creme de menthe, creme de cocoa for ice cream drinks. The product description makes it plain that liqueurs and other potables more viscous than regular booze won't work reliably with this system. Thought I'd try it anyway. The result: sometimes it works great, others it won't stop pouring. Didn't hear anybody complaining that their grasshoppers and alexanders were a little more potent than normal.

But they're not accurate. I bought a pack of 1.5 oz pourers, but I actually get a pour anywhere between 1.2 and 2 oz. Sometimes it's close to 1.5 oz, but it seems to be just random chance when it happens.

Bought these for a wine tasting girls night at my house. I was having a dozen girls over, each asked to bring a bottle to add a cheese of their choosing for a charcuterie board. Such a fun idea but I really needed exact measurements so everyone got a sample. I went with the 1.5 Oz pour.Sadly one of my friends couldn’t figure out how to prep the spout- so I just assumed it was broken and poured all my wine in a salad dressing carafe that had the Oz labeled along the side. But the next morning when I was cleaning up- I tested out the spouts with some of the empty wine bottles and all 3 spouts worked great! I plan on using them for the next wine or cocktail night for sure!Definitely recommend testing it out with an empty bottle first to be confident - in advance of whichever event you do- versus last minute opening then before guests arrive. But very easy to use! Just put the spout on, cover the pour hole with your thumb, and let the spout “prep” for a few seconds. Tip it back upright & you should be good to go for the rest of the pours!

Genuine product is hard to fault. Fits standard bottles perfectly with no leaks & when primed correctly pours consistently.Beware of counterfeit suppliers who have posted these items, they appear on the “official” page for the item so take care to confirm it’s dispatched from Amazon US or AmeriPour

I am amazed at how accurate these things pour. They do not fit every bottle but fit the vast majority of mine. They even for the sweetened lime juice bottles. They don't leak and man they pour the perfect measure. I am highly impressed at the quality and accuracy.

After following the preparation directions precisely and testing the three pourers, I was ready to write a nasty review as only one of the three items poured an ounce. The other two just kept pouring. Then I remembered a previous review I had read where the author stated the proper technique of pouring .. like a bartender. Initially, I was "gently" tipping the bottle at about a 45 degree angle and getting very bad results. When I tipped the bottle all the way up, all three items accurately poured one ounce.So far (after one day) I am pleased with the quality and accuracy of these 1 oz. pourers. I think they are a little pricey, but as long as they continue to pour accurately, I am happy.
