Don’t waste your money!! This key is junk! Two months after getting it programmed the key buttons are sketchy for unlocking my car.It worked fine for two months, now causing problems. I will likely have to buy a new key if it continues to worsen and unable to unlock my car at some point. Junk, total junk!

You’re definitely able to self program the basic: lock, unlock and panic buttons to work yourself via YouTube instructions but you’re going to need an app or someone to cut- program the key to your car. Otherwise you’ll only be able to turn the car on but it’ll shut off. Going rate for programming is $125. Overall cheaper than OEM and works the same

Honda dealership cut the key. and still does not work after programing it. Honda dealership said that i have to buy the original one from them. I lost about CAN$117

I looked online to find the procedure to program this unit and it worked just fine. So you don’t have to pay anything to get it programmed.

Had to replace the battery for over $8.00 and tax. Not thrilled. Honda dealership tried to program it, but had no luck.

I worked! When I brought this blank car key to the lock shop, they warned me that a lot of these Amazon keys don't work and that they would charge me anyway even if it didn't work. But then he took pity on me (probably saw my crestfallen face) and ran some tests on it and it seemed like it was promising.He made the key and it worked perfectly. I wanted it for a spare as we bought the car used and it had only one key.So, yes, it worked perfectly and was much cheaper than if I had purchased the key from the shop I was at.PS - In case you want to know it cost about $80 for me to have it cut and programmed where I live.Also, a lot of the negative reviews I read were because they bought the wrong year. I don't know how you blame that on the product since it is clearly listed which years this works for.
