They are nice, the 3m double sided tape on them must have been old though because they are not staying properly bonded to the pontoons. Yes I properly prepped the pontoons before applying the guards.

It went on easy and looks great. I have a 20ft pontoon and there was about 3 feet left over . Just clean and prep as instructed , lay some masking tape on the top of where you want it, and unpeel the top layer of tape and work your way back lining it up perfectly, then unpeel the bottom two layers and smooth out with tool provided. Looks really nice also. This is the cheapest I have found this item by almost half of anywhere else.
