I've used this for quite a few years. It works well but it will leave a residue on your paint which will be on there for quite sometime unless you immediately wipe it off with a dry cloth. Poor container will kind of spit the product out so again be careful not to spatter it on your paint. One application will not last real long if you get a lot of rain. I've found if I apply a coat, rub it in well, let dry for awhile, and apply a 2nd coat it will last quite awhile. A 3rd coat would probably be better yet but I never did this. You can buy this at wally world for about half the price.

I used this on my 2004 avalanche with body cladding.. If you don't know? that means a lot of plastic..So much plastic I had to deviate from the instructions and apply it with a paintbrush.. I wiped all the excess off With a terry cloth towel. It's been 3 weeks since it was applied. It When it rains. I still get oily drip marks on my paint the drip marks are getting lesser over time.. The whole reason I bought Maguire's is because it states.. drys instantly and will not leave greasy residue. In Maguire's defense The truck is in mint condition no rust I cut and buffed the original paint job.. I didn't get any comments.. As soon as I restored the plastic everyone thought painted my truck and said how new it looks... And I did use a paintbrush. Hopefully the restored plastic Which does look awesome.. outlasts the reoccurring drip marks when it rains.

While most Meguiars products are excellent, this doesn't restore the plastice like I wanted. I ordered the Chemical Guys Gel for plastic and rubber and found my new plastic detail stuff.
