Sweet little thing! These types of boxes have become outrageously priced in other places and they remain affordable on Amazon. This product is the same, if not better, quality than it's competitors that can be found elsewhere on the internet. I purchased for a very specific project based on the dimensions provided. When it arrived, the dimensions were spot on and my projects was able to proceed without a hitch. The snaps for the locking lid have a very nice satisfying click which ensures a nice lock. I have opened and close this countless time and that click hasn't gone away. The foam on the inside was double layered and easy to pluck to the shape of the contents of the case and, again, has a quality feel. Unfortunately, I haven't had it at altitude so I'm unsure if the pressure release works but I'm sure it does. I would definitely be purchasing one of these in the future if I needed this style of case again. I just wish they didn't make a bigger case at the same affordable price.

I purchased this case to transport and store my Garmin ECHOMAP 106sv. The case is hard sturdy plastic with what appears to heavy duty latches. The inside contains foam on the lid and main body. The foam on the lid was loose and would fall off. I used double sided tape to hold it in place and this very minor issue was resolved. The foam in the base comes precut in 1/2" x 2" squares which you break off to the desired dimensions. I very easily modified the base foam to fit my Garmin (~11.5" × 7.5" x 2") leaving approximately 2" of foam protection all around the unit. Of course the caution is that you double check your dimensions before breaking off the foam because once a piece is removed it won't go back. It's a good case at a fair price and would recommend it.

I can't tell you what I put inside mine, but it fit perfectly. Foam is removable and in small squares.

Arrived missing both of the metallic lock hasps on one side. I'm not a big fan of the way they look anyway and may just remove the others to make it match. They don't serve any real purpose. The cubed foam does make it easy to customize. Overall, it's a very nice case, just shouldn't have been missing parts.UPDATE - THE SELLER REACHED OUT AND MADE THIS RIGHT!! ADJUSTED MY 3 STARS TO 5.

This case has a high quality sturdy feel and some nice foam. I saw a review stating it binds as you open it. I noticed the same but I’m thinking that’s due to the way it’s designed. It stays open when fully opened so that might be why it feels like it’s binding. It also looks like there is a spot in the front for a tag to label what’s inside see the third picture.

I got this instead of a pelican case because of the price. I have to say, for the price, this case is great. It is very sturdy, seems like it could withstand some drops. There are two layers of foam and a thin top layer. The middle layer is pre-cut into tiny cubes that you can pluck to make the perfect size to hold whatever you need. It has two slightly steel reinforced holes for locks. It's a great little case, would definitely buy again, or buy other sizes from them.

I purchased this case to hold my telescope eyepieces and accessories. It appears to be well made. I have never owned any type of protective case before. To me this product looks identical to a Nanuk or Pelican cases that I have researched but is considerably less expensive. I won't be putting it through any rigorous handling so I can't comment on how it would hold up in a harsh environment situation but I suspect it will do well. If I have any issues I will update. But for now, I feel satisfied with the purchase and consider it a good value for my needs.
