Your cart is empty.Modeled after traditional basket stands used to mount snare drums, the Meinl Sonic Energy Handpan Stand features three padded arms to cradle your handpan safely and securely (also perfect for steel tongue drums). The stand is made of steel with double braced tripod legs that provide a sturdy foundation for any handpan or steel tongue drum, and it’s finished with black powder coating for a warm look that can blend with the aesthetic of your space. The end of each arm is outfitted with a thick rubber pad that avoids scratching your drum and cuts out unwanted vibrations while maintaining full resonance—these pads also feature notches to hold mallets for a steel tongue drum. You can also adjust the amount of spread in the arms by turning the dial located directly below the arm basket base. Bring them closer together for smaller drums and spread them out for larger drums. Engineered for a standing position, this stand has an adjustable height range from 28" minimum up to 39" maximum. Once the height is set, use the tilter below the basket to find the right angle for you. Heavy-duty, non-slip feet give the stand a solid feel and protect sensitive floor surfaces from scratching. The plastic parts are not of very good quality.The description "Not Made in China" should be removed. It is derogatory, and the overall impression it leaves is as if it is made in Germany. It is Made in Thailand. Just be honest and upfront, and say that, instead of "Not Made in China." This will be my last Meinl product. I do not like dishonest and derogatory descriptions of products.

I am very pleased with this stand. It was easy to put together. I didn't realize it was going to be a little heavy. However it does make sense considering you want to make sure your Handpan doesn't fall. If I end up needing a standing one. I would definitely buy it from this company. Thanks 🙂

I sold my Aviot Pantam Stand because it kept buzzing despite fiddling with the bolts and adding rubber washers.I also tried a homemade version of what Rav sells for about $20 and felt it was a disaster waiting to happen with toddlers in my house. Probably fine for a house without kids or big pets.I landed on the Meinl Sonic Energy Stand and love it. No regrets. Easy to adjust for either my Rav Vast or Handpan. Super stable, no worries about two kids and dog knocking it over unless it's a direct hit.

Very nice and sturdy stand. I have 22" full size handpan and this stand is perfect for me. Read a review of this product and was worried about quality. They were wrong and if you need instruction for this product! God help you! Want a good stand for half the price? Get one.

We have a 15" Kosmosky tongue drum custom built in Russia. It is a magnificent work of art with incredible sound and tongues on both sides. I wanted a stand to complement the drum and keep it secure and easily available to play. We have 7 cats and they feel it is their right to go anywhere and do whatever they want. The drum sits on the Meinl stand and has never been upset or moved by any of the cats. That is a good real life test.It costs more than other alternatives but in this case you get what you pay for and for my money this is the best tongue drum stand available.
