I purchased these 304 stainless staples for marine upholstery and they arrive the next day and looked exactly like what I normally use, but when I opened the box it was labeled “FOR INTERIOR USE ONLY” ( is there an emoji for scratching your head). 304 stainless steel staples for interior only???? I’m perplexed, speechless, why is 304 stainless for interior only and why spend the money for stainless when galvanized would be less money when using for interior upholstery????

Definitely stainless. Ok for outdoor use. Disregard the packaging that says interior use only. Not true. This has been sitting in salt water for 24 hours. Not a speck of rust. They ought to change their packaging.
