Push the click lever.

Pull out the slider unit.
Loading The Staples
Insert a set of staples into the magazine with the square feet of staples up.
Closing The Magazine
Press the slider unit forward to set the click lever securely.

Looked like a great product, however, i also ordered the stapples but they never arrived, so had to look for other options to complete what i needed to do. So returned the stapler and eventually got a refund for the staples.

I am reupholtering everything in my home with this gun. Make sure you use it at 90 psi with a regulator as you would with any staple guns.
