Not a bas product, didn't actually use it. I didn't like how the pouch sat away from my body. Really liked the quick connect functions. Found it useful you could mount the clip to a wall if u wanted.

This tool pouch has eight pockets. All of them are more like "loops"- the bottoms are open, so not really pouches.There are 3 at about 4.5" deep, 3 at about 3.5" deep, and 2 at about 2.3" long.All but one of the slots is pretty narrow- for screw drivers or the like. None would hold a standard hammer.The widest slot could hold something like a small crescent wrench or wire snippers, but it also is a slot, not pouch, so something like a razor knife would just fall out the bottom.The clip is pretty ingenious, there is the half that attaches to a belt, which you do not need to remove the belt or play the "put the belt part of the way on, thread the tool belt thing, then continue putting on the belt" game- it snaps open and hooks on the belt super easy. The pouch portion just hooks to that and comes off and goes on really easily. Unlike some of the other belt pouches out there, the latching mechanism is made of plastic, this plastic is very heavy and seems rugged, but I worry about the "throw it in the truck repeatedly" activities that happen, so we shall see about its longevity.It's a handy little pouch, but only holds narrow tools.

Super tough and durable construction. Looks good and works well. Fits my standard tool belt easily and provides a lot of useful places to put things!

This tool pouch has eight "through" pockets: back row - 3 @ 4.5" long, middle row - 3 @ 3.5" long, front row - 2 @ 2.375" long. Except for the middle pocket in the rear row, all packets are fairly narrow, which means that they can fit only relatively thin tools with sufficiently wide handles (such as screwdrivers) to ensure that the tools do not slip out of the bottom.The middle pocket in the back row is wide enough to hold a standard utility knife, but because the knife does not have a wide end, it will slip out of the pocket - hence, you cannot carry a standard utility knife in this pouch.The clip to attach the pouch to the belt is excellent - I have never seen such a good design. You don't have to struggle to attach the clip to the belt - just open the clip, slip it over the belt and snap it shut. Likewise, the lever mechanism to remove the pouch from the belt clip is sturdy and designed well.The tape measure clip can hold even a 25 ft Stanley FatMax.Overall, a very good quality pouch, but limited to tools with wide handles to ensure that the tools do not slip out of the "through" pockets.BTW, on one of the product page photos, I am not quite sure why a mechanic would need yellow electrical tape when working underneath a car.
