Our Story
Our company is seven years old and is one of the originators of the ratchet belt in the USA. We didn’t invent the ratchet system, we re-engineered it and made it better. The technology has been around for 25 years and is very popular in Asia And that’s where one of the founders of Nexbelt, Eddie discovered it. He brought it back to his business partner Tom and discussed what could be done better. The first thing we did was to upgrade the leather – something most companies don’t do today. We utilized the existing mechanism but designed a buckle to resemble a pin buckle – and a golf buckle that had a hidden ball marker behind the face - which we received US patents for.

In the middle of my diet, this belt is easy to adjust to my shrinking waistline.Definitely heavy duty enough to support my sidearm.I'd buy again... I'm even looking to add more styles and colors.

This custom size is best for 38 waist and up. It has the most variability for concealed carry. Holds fast with a good IWB holster and mag holder.

I own this brand and one other brand of ratcheting belts. I own more tactical styles than dress belts. And, I tend to buy and wear Nexbelt styles that are more casual, or tactical. This was one of my only Nexbelt belts in leather. It’s a great match to 2 pair of my favorite, comfortable shoes I wear with slacks, or nicer jeans. I enjoy dressing each day for what I’ll be doing that day, but I always want everything I’m wearing to go with/match. This belt hit the mark for me.

I really like to be able to change how loose or tight I want my belt in 1/4 inch increments. Great quality and I think a fair price.
