I considered this robe more of a costume, but it is a very well-made and elegant item. The fabric is thin and not lined, but the red boning adds structure and seriousness to the design. The matching red buttons down the front on the cuffed sleeves really give this robe its liturgical stamp.

Perfect fit. Light. Nice material for the price. Husband used to preach in and loved it. Delivery was quick. Easy to iron. Great rob for preachers who don’t wear robes often or just getting started on their robe journey.

If you want something that looks historic, this isn't it. It has a distinct polyester look. Other than that, it's a decent garment. The material seems durable and the stitching adequate. It looks pretty good for a more modern look, and it will fit just about anyone since it's a robe that can be easily tailored without affecting the overall look.

The size chart should be ignored because it came very small considering I ordered 3XXL and the quality was poor.

I purchased this as a gift. The Pastor size is XL. This was so small he needed 3X. I found another style without the buttons purchased 2x. It was a roomy perfect fit.

This would probably be fine as a costume piece, make sure to ignore the size chart and order a few sizes above what you think you need.
