Up front, be forewarned that the quality of the manufacture is second-rate. Cut and finish are mediocre and stitching around the button holes has obvious defects. So why the 5-star rating? Because it is cheap and comfortable and OH SO WARM! I use it primarily in layering for cold weather activities outdoors (fishing, etc.). I want something I that keeps me warm (and dry!) and that I don't feel bad about when I wear it while walking through brush or when I catch a hook in it. This is perfect. Quite literally, you can slip one sleeve in and during the time it takes to put your in the second sleeve you already start feeling substantially warmer. When fishing in 38 degree weather with wind, I had to remove my outer layer because I was getting too warm even just standing. The under layer and this shirt was all I needed. Not sure how long it will end up lasting, but quite sure that at that point I won't care--I'll just buy two more.

The button holes on this product were on the side meant for women's clothing, and also were way smaller than the buttons! We would have to cut longer openings in order for these buttons to be usable

It is well made and thick material. The colors and the plaid design are pleasing to the eye. The inside is lined with smooth polyester while the outside is cotton. Comfortable to wear.

Giving it a 5 star rating even though I returned it as I was looking for a matching jacket for my toddler son. Found one but returned his due to the itchy rashes it gave him, so I returned it as I wanted to match with him for family photoshoot. When I tried it on it was true to size and really soft. Grat material and for the price I might have to purchase for everyday use next fall/winter. Loved the color and pattern.
