This vest is wonderful!! I brought it for my 65 year old brother that kept dropping things in his hands or forgetting everything when getting ready to go somewhere (his phone, wallet, cigarettes, lighter, other pocket items he needed with him). He can put all is items in these pockets. Once ready to go he's already packed 🥰. He doesn't like back packs or anything resembling a bag/purse for women.

Die Weste besteht aus einem im Schulter- und Rückenbereich weitmaschigen Gewebe, dadurch ist es dort luftdurchlässig und recht angenehm zu tragen. Die vielen Taschen lassen den Einsatz als Koffer-Ersatz oder als Erweiterung für einen Rucksack zu, ein wenig Kleidung und Kosmetikartikel sind dort gut und platzsparend verstaut. Auch für Wanderungen ist die Weste gut geeignet, wenn die vorderen Taschen stärker befüllt sind gleicht die Gewichtsverteilung dort den Rucksack aus. Die Reißverschlüsse und Klettverschlüsse sind ok und haben eine strapaziöse Reise gut überlebt. Wer auf einen Koffer verzichten möchte (je Strecke bei Lufthansa momentan 60€) und für einige Tage nicht viel Kleidung benötigt hat hiermit eine Alternative. Auf den Flughäfen war es damit völlig problemlos. Security und Flugpersonal gingen entspannt damit um, andere Fluggäste guckten seltsam da es nicht sehr hübsch aussieht und aufträgt. In die überfüllten Gepäckablagen passt eine solche Weste oft noch hinein wenn für Bordkoffer nichts mehr geht. Nachteile: Kleidung zerknittert stark, die Weste bietet keinerlei Stoßschutz und keinen Schutz gegen Feuchtigkeit. Besonders im Rückenbereich und an den Hüften sinkt das dort verstaute Gepäck nach unten und bildet dicke Wülste an den Hüften und am unteren Rücken. Das sieht unschön aus, ist aber zusammen mit einem kleinen zusätzlichen Rucksack angenehm zu tragen. Ich hatte die Weste für einen kurzen Aktivurlaub gekauft und war damit insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Als Änderung würde ich mir im Rückenbereich 3 Taschen übereinander wünschen statt einer großen oder zusätzliche Druckknöpfe zur Unterteilung in einzelne Fächer. Ich hatte die Weste teils solo auf einem Shirt, teils mit einer weiten Jacke darüber getragen. Die Größenangabe stimmt, gut gefüllt läßt sie sich manchmal nicht mehr schließen wenn alles nach unten rutscht. Ich hatte für die Hinreise einige Textilien und Kosmetik in Folie vakuumiert, dadurch waren sie etwas besser geschützt und hielten die Form. Ich fand im Internet Tipps zu Flugweste Gepäckweste Gepäckjacke Gepäckmantel mit vielen Taschen die momentan ausverkauft waren, möchte nun aber gern bei dieser Weste bleiben.

I use this vest as a portable tool box, I can keep all sorts of screws, pliers, etc. handy and on my person when I'm working outside on projects.

I wear this every time I fly and not only is it comfortable and breathable, it is super convenient. I love all the pockets—I’ve got places for everything I need at hand! Several people, including flight attendants and other passengers have complimented me and asked where I’ve gotten it. The mesh means I don’t overheat and the mix of pocket types allows for easy storage of many things. This includes gum, my phone, my wallet, my emergency medication, and other travel essentials.

This is my fourth vest. The other three are different designs. Very attractive color, great styling for hot weather, and working in a shop, garage, or outdoors. The zippers all work. I know I can't expect much (durability) for the price, but I do like it and will buy it again.

It is light weight and you don't get hot with it on like and extra layer of clothing, had more pockets than I thought, good thing I went with the xtra large cause I am a large, and it fit just right. I have had several vest through out the years and this one is the best so far, with 45 years in Photography and as a 4 time Award winning Photojournalist I can say this one works.
