My Husband loves skull cap, especially doing his Chemo treatments, he said its light & cooling, plus it hides his baldness , which he is vain, so this take care of how he feels which is important right now.Its a plus, also wears it under his Sun Hats, to keep from the sweat in the Brim of the Hat.

I purchased one of these some time back and liked it so much that I purchased a second one so that I could rotate them. I typically wet mine, gently squeeze the excess water out, put it in a small ziplock bag and throw it in the freezer for a bit. This keeps me cool on my 40 minute commute to work in the Summer heat here in northern Virginia. Once I get to work, I just repeat the process and it's ready for the ride home. If you do this, it may seem a bit too cold at first, but just give it about 3 or 4 minutes and it will be perfect. Pair this up with a Cooldana or one of the similar cooling neck wraps available here on Amazon and you will enjoy riding in the Summer. FWIW, I also have a Fieldsheer cooling vest, but it's kind of a pain to deal with when using it for commuting. It's great for the weekends and touring. Typically, I am happy with using just the cap and neck wrap on a daily basis.Now I'm just waiting for them to release the Hyperkewl Briefs :-)

I box and with the weather staying hotter than usual this proved to be the best cool-down decision I could have made. I soak it in an old thermos full of ice water and after training wear it for as long as I need to. It stays cool for a long time this way, and a brief dip back in the ice water works wonders. I highly recommend this cap. Another reviewer wrote he has a 7 and 1/8 hat size and the cap was too snug. My hat size is 7 and 1/2, and this cap fits perfect.
