The gold is kinda holographic. Shirt appears well made. My 3x hubz's belly fit into the shirt well. He is 6'2" and it was long enough as well.The shirt looks super fun. We were in a parade and a party afterward and people were giving him compliments.Even if this looks like a crazy shirt, go ahead and get it. It will make people want to go to whatever party you are dressed for.

Living the life of a youth leader, coach, and parent, sometimes you just have to walk a little on the crazy side. This shirt gives an extra bit of pizzazz for those moments. Originally got this to do a character day for youth camp, but once it arrived I realized all of the glorious possibilities this shirt can be used for. Daughter is a homecoming nominee and needs an escort? Bam, this shirt to the rescue. Friend is throwing an impromptu disco party? No problem, this shirt has got your back (literally). Need to spice up football practice so that the kids are focused on you? Viola. Endless possibilities and fun. My only “gripe” is that I ordered a 2x, and the packaging says that is what it is. The shirt is marked XL and the fit is more like an XL. It is also doesn’t breath as well as some shirts do. For a bright and adventurous shirt, this one fits the bill though.
