Use these a base layer and I am pretty happy with them and even the pocket has come in handy while traveling. Overall I recommend them as a compression base layer for either at the gym or every day fare if that works for you, they are pretty great for what they are, although they do have a fairly low waist, which isnt ideal, compared to some of the other compression shorts I have.

These are super great quality, no loose threads or seams. I work out frequently and need supportive, breathable trunks that alleviate chaffing from all the movement. I like the waist band, it is comfortable, and does not pinch or roll.I can't find myself using the pocket on the sides of the trunks that much, since it would require me to pull my shorts up too high or be more inappropriate by reaching down to the pocket underneath the shorts if I working out in a public gym. Neither action is encouraged around others. Otherwise, these will be great as additional pair of workout trunks.

I waited a while to write my review of these so I could wear them multiple times. These caught my eye because they mimic pro combat compression gear which I have worn for many years when running or going to the gym. I love these compression shorts!These are compression shorts which means they are a base layer (or underwear). You are wearing these underneath your shorts or clothes. I typically wear medium so I went with medium and they fit great. At very first, they did not rise as high as I expected in the back but after a little adjustment I got them to fit perfectly and after a few washes, they fit just as I would expect and like.These are super comfortable, compress the glutes, hamstrings, and quads pretty well and they look good. I wear these as underwear until working out so I wear them most of the day and they have been great to wear. They never ride up. The pockets are pretty nice and large enough to hold a phone but I would not carry anything in them unless I was in a pinch.These are great looking pro combat style compression shorts. These are underwear, not outerwear. If you workout or just like a good set of comfortable underwear, these are a fantastic option!

i like the shorts, and ALMOST everything about them, there's just one thing... that thing, is the way that they fit in the back! so I don't have a dumper, let's get that clear. more like the noassatall syndrome. these fit me great, sized great, i like the fabric, i like the amount of stretch, and compression, the fit and feel, the quality seems nice, the colors i got are desirable, all is good, except the middle rear of the waistband, it's like it wants to sit an inch or two lower than where it should! when I wear these, i find i'm constantly grabbing the back side and hiking them up. i've tried all different ways to wear them, if there are really even more than one, lets be honest, and there's no trick to it! nothing else that i own does this to me. and for as much as i want to absolutely LOVE these, it's that one little thing that holds me back.
