This raincoat is pretty awesome. It’s fully waterproof so far from my experience. It looks great and fits really well too. For the price this is a great raincoat!

As it's finally warming up around here my husband was finally able to give this jacket a try this last weekend. While it wasn't fully raining all day when it wore it, it was misting all day with periods of harder rain on and off. He said the fit was spot on, so order to size unless you plan to layer underneath in which case you might order a size up. He commented that it's not as lightweight as a summer rain coat, but just the right weight for fall or spring. The seems seamed durable, waterproof and overall the cut and fit was good for him. He didn't love the adjustable cuffs but they weren't a deal breaker either. As it has just a mesh lining it's not really intended to keep you warm, but really just to shed water. The detachable hood was also a plus as he rarely wears hoods on his jackets so prefers that they either stow someplace on the collar or better yet detach so you don't have one to bulk up the neck line.Overall he said this was on par with jackets he's owned from bigger/well known brands but at half the price.

A tad heavy for what I wanted. Looking for something compact for travel. This Jacket was a bit heavy. Might be good for wind and rain, but I need something lightweight. My other issue is the way it fit. I'm 6'0 175 and ordered a L. It fit like a xxl, Since it didn't fit the bill, I didn't bother ordering down.

I hike and camp in areas that are warm most of the year. In the spring and summer I often encounter pop-up rain showers. I needed a lightweight raincoat that I could carry with me in my backpack that would hold up to afternoon showers. This rain jacket fits the bill. It blocks the wind and repels the water. The hood is one of my favourite features. It can be unzipped to be detached. In strong wind and rain, the hood can be tighten around the neck with a velcro flap. The jacket has about a 3 inch cover cuff to cover my neck. There are zipper closure pockets, which I found useful to keep my keys and phone dry. There is also a pocket on the inside. The rain jacket has a mesh type liner which makes it more breathable, especially in the humidity after rains storms. It is comfortable and durable.

Overall I'm really pleased with this jacket. My adult kids all commented on how good it looks. The material seems to be good quality and attractive and feels really comfortable. It has velcro cuff adjustments, but these seem to be a bit flimsy so I'm not sure how durable they will be (not a big deal as you don't need to constantly change the cuffs). It is light, which is just what I was looking for. The hood detaches when not needed. There are snap closures at the top and bottom of the zipper to help keep the zipper from pulling open. I usually need a size XL for a comfortable fit over other clothes, but I should have ordered a L. Also, I wish that it included a stow bag - or a pocket that serves this purpose - just to make it easier to pack this up for travel/hiking/etc. Overall I'm really pleased with this and will enjoy getting lots of good use out of it.

This is a really good light rain jacket. It's not made for cold weather, but I got it in my usual size and it has plenty of room for me to wear one of my fleece or athletic jackets under it for warmth when needed. In a warm summer rain it would be perfect all by itself.Since it hasn't been raining very often in California, I gave it the waterproof test of sticking my arm under the kitchen faucet running full blast. The water literally fell right off, none got through and the fabric didn't even feel wet after, so the waterproofing really works well. The fabric still seems very breathable too. There are velcro straps at the wrists and neck you can use to cinch the hood and cuffs closed to keep rain out. All the pockets have zippers and they all have flaps over the zips to keep water out. The hood also has a drawstring you can use to tighten up the fit. The hood can be removed too if you don't want it.The inside pocket is a convenient place to keep your phone or other items dry.I think this is a nice jacket and very comfortable. A lot of rainwear, ponchos...etc you have to pull over your head to put on or take off, so I particularly like the fact that this is something you can put on and zip up like a normal jacket. On top of it all, it's pretty inexpensive as well.

This jacket has everything going for it. I think of lightweight as more of a packable type (that fits in your pocket), this is a little heavier than that. While it seems to be totally waterproof, it does breathe. Sizing is spot on, I have a size up so it can breathe on a warmer day, and I can fit more layers underneath on a cooler day. I live in FL, so my idea of warmth and lightweight might be different from others.Zippers are everywhere. It has a double zipper on the main front closure, so you can bring up the bottom if you want. Pockets, which are very generously sized, zip closed, as well as the inside pocket. You can fit a phone and billfold inside and keep them dry, and zip it closed to keep them from falling out. Finally, the hood can zip off, if you are not going to need it. If you do, it has a closure on the front, and a tie to tighten around your face if you are out in some severe weather. While others have complained about the wrist cinch, I find it perfect. It can be quickly and easily adjusted to keep rain or wind from entering your sleeve. Granted it is not a perfect seal, and if you stuck your arm in water, it would get wet, but I appreciate the quick and easy action of the Velcro. Finally, I love the color and the black accents. Not just for a rainy day, this jacket looks good as well.
